The Estate was established in 1990 and is beautifully stretched out above the town of Jeffreys Bay. It is also conveniently situated close to the N2 Highway at the Jeffreys Bay off ramp.

At Mentors Country Estate you can experience a combination of geographical regions the Eastern Cape has to offer like Noorseveld and of course the sea. Our spectacular sea views and rock & stone style buildings will contribute to superb memories of your visit to the Estate.

Mentors Country Estate is conveniently situated in close proximity to the Jeffreys Bay golf course, tennis, and squash courts, bowling greens, the legendary blue flag Dolphin beach and the world famous Supertubes. Jeffreys Bay is also known for its deep sea angling, rock & surf angling as well as river boating on the Gamtoos and Kromme Rivers.

Mentors Guest House

Seven en-suite rooms in true African Décor leading to lounge. Unique stone building with views over the farm towards the sea. Experience beautiful sunrises and abundance of farm animals.

Mentors Annex

Eight spacious en-suite private rooms leading onto the patio overlooking the farm. Rooms decorated in farm animal themes i.e. Guinea-Fowl, Cow, Duck, Ostrich, Pig, Turkey, Fowl and Peacock. Each room is equipped with a TV set, coffee/tea facilities and a fridge. Three rooms can accommodate three guests each..

Mentors Africa Apartment

Two bedroom self-catering flatlet accommodating a maximum of 6 guests (4 adults & 2 children) and consisting of two bedrooms, bathroom, open-plan kitchen, living area and braai area. The unit is spacious with a sea view.

Mentors Aloe Apartment

Self catering bachelor's unit accommodating a maximum of four guests (2 adults & 2 children) with a single bathroom, undercover braai and private entrance with beautiful views.

Mentors Brahman Apartment

Self Catering two bedroom unit with two bathrooms accommodating a maximum of seven guests (4 adults & 3 children), undercover braai area and private entrance with beautiful views.

Mentors Self Catering Units

Nine spacious units, each with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, open plan living area, undercover braai and beautiful views over the farm. The cottages are decorated in floral themes i.e. Laventel, Roos, Sonneblom, Madeliefie, Kanna, Malva, Strelitzia and Protea. Each cottage can accommodate a maximum of 6 guests (4 adults & 2 children).

Weddings

Introduction to Mentors Wedding Venue

A unique facility which has been specially designed to cater for weddings and the only one of its size on the coast between Plettenberg Bay and Port Alfred.

Mentors Country Estate is close to the N2 on the Garden Route. The travelling time from Port Elizabeth is approximately 45 minutes.

Our unique setting, abundance of open space and farm activities make us the ideal destination for your dream wedding.

Mentors Wedding Venue is situated on a prime spot 3 km north of Jeffreys Bay in a friendly, safe and secure environment.

At Mentors Country Estate your wedding and function will not be affected by any electricity load shedding time schedules due to our own electricity supply.

We sincerely believe that Mentors Country Estate and our staff can successfully contribute towards your special day.

Chapel(included in the overhead costs)

The chapel can accommodate approximately 120 people. It is decorated with beautiful lead glass windows which contribute its sanctified atmosphere. In the event of the Chapel not being part of the whole function, i.e. the reception being held at a different Venue, will include the following:

• Red carpet down aisle
• Podium with PA system, CD player, standing microphone
• Table for signing the register

Conference Venues

A unique facility which has been specially designed to cater for conferences, functions and weddings and the only one of its size on the coast between Plettenberg Bay and Port Alfred. Mentors Conference Venue is situated on a prime spot 3 km north of Jeffreys Bay in a friendly, safe and secure environment. The rural atmosphere, rustic buildings and abundance of open space will contribute towards a memorable visit to Mentors Venue. Mentorskraal offers a variety of different sized venues seating from 40 to 2000 guests in various seating configurations.
